Boost caps
Lista boosts only a limited dollar amount of positions per holder tier, with separate caps for the supply side (supply and Earn deposits) and the borrow side. Value above a cap still earns the normal base rate in full; it just doesn’t earn the extra boost.
Current caps#
| Lista holder tier | 7-day average LISTA | Supply cap | Borrow cap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | ≥ 10,000 | $500 | $500 |
| Tier 2 | ≥ 50,000 | $1,000 | $1,000 |
These come from Lista and can change; the Dashboard’s Holder Boost Tiers card shows the live values. Lista defines higher tiers too, but Listapie lends at most 50,000 LISTA (Tier 2).
How a cap is applied#
A cap is shared across all your positions on that side, pro rata:
boosted share = min(1, cap / your total on that side)
boosted value of a position = position × boosted share
Tier 1, $2,000 borrowed
$500boosted (inside the $500 cap)
$1,500base rate only
Example · Two borrows at Tier 1 (cap $500)
- Market A borrow
- $1,000
- Market B borrow
- $1,000
- Boosted share
- 500 / 2,000 = 25%
- Boosted in A / in B
- $250 / $250
- Boosted in total
- $500
Effective boost on a large position#
The rate cells in Borrow and Earn show your tier’s boost as if the whole position sat inside the cap. Above the cap, the boost you actually earn is diluted:
effective boost APR = tier boost APR × 75% × boosted share
Example · $2,000 borrow, Tier 1, 21% boost APR
- Tier boost APR × 75% (after fee)
- 15.75%
- Boosted share
- 500 / 2,000 = 25%
- Effective boost on the whole $2,000
- 15.75% × 25% = 3.94%
- ≈ per year
- $78.75 of LISTA
The Boost tab under Dashboard → My positions shows, per side, how much of the shared cap you use (“Room for $X more” or “$X over cap”), and per position its boosted amount and the part earning only the base rate.
Caps are per vault. With several vaults, each has its own caps for its own positions; see Multiple vaults.
