The 7-day ramp
Lista computes each holder’s tier from a 7-day weighted average (“twap7d”) of their LISTA balance: hourly snapshots, averaged per day, averaged over seven days. Short-term buying can’t game it; the balance has to be held. That is why a freshly funded vault isn’t boosted on day one.
How the average climbs#
When a vault goes from a balance from to to and holds it, the old balance leaves the window as the new one enters:
7-day average, t days after the change
twap7d(t) = from + (to − from) × min(t, 7) / 7
7-day weighted LISTA holding (what Lista's tier reads)
Example · Fresh Tier-1 vault
- Day 1
- 10,000 × 1/7 = 1,429 LISTA
- Day 3
- 10,000 × 3/7 = 4,286 LISTA
- Day 5
- 10,000 × 5/7 = 7,143 LISTA
- Day 7
- 10,000 → Tier 1
The ETA the app shows#
While a vault is ramping, the My Vault card shows “Ramping ~X left” and a progress bar:
days left = 7 × (threshold − twap7d) / balance (capped at 7)
progress = twap7d / threshold
Example · Ramping card
- Threshold (Tier 1)
- 10,000
- Vault balance
- 10,000
- Current twap7d
- 3,000
- Days left
- 7 × 7,000 / 10,000 = 4.9 d
- Progress
- 30%
- Card shows
- Ramping ~4d 22h
Upgrading to Tier 2#
Moving from 10,000 to 50,000 LISTA starts a second ramp. Your Tier-1 boost keeps running the whole time (the average never drops below 10,000), and Lista’s Tier 2 arrives once the average reaches 50,000, 7 days after the upgrade.

Why pool vaults help
A pool vault starts its ramp when the protocol funds it, not when you create it, so part or all of the week has already passed by the time it reaches you.
